Design Agent & Agent Manager
The Design Agent tracks your entire project history and reasons through versions. The Agent Manager lets you explore multiple directions simultaneously.
What is the Design Agent?
The Design Agent is an advanced AI system that tracks your entire project history and reasons through design versions. Unlike simple prompt-response interactions, the Design Agent understands the context of your project — what you have built so far, what changes you have made, and why. It can make intelligent suggestions and execute multi-step design tasks autonomously.
The Agent Manager
The Agent Manager lets you deploy multiple Design Agents simultaneously. Each agent can explore a different design direction independently. You might have one agent working on a light theme, another on a dark theme, and a third exploring a completely different layout — all at the same time. When they finish, you can review and compare their work on the canvas.
How to Use It
Access the Design Agent through the agent panel in Stitch. Give it a high-level goal: "Design a complete onboarding flow for a fitness app with 5 screens." The agent will plan its approach, generate each screen, ensure consistency across screens, and deliver a cohesive set of designs. You can interrupt at any point to provide feedback or redirect its approach.
Tips & Best Practices
- 1Give the Design Agent high-level goals rather than specific screen instructions.
- 2Use the Agent Manager to explore radically different approaches in parallel.
- 3Review agent work at checkpoints rather than waiting for completion.
- 4Provide feedback after each agent output to refine its direction.
- 5Combine agent-generated designs with manual direct edits for best results.
